Datacenter SAN scalability

This paper discusses the benefits of building larger fibre channel fabrics. It then presents the challenges that currently available fibre channel switching technologies have in delivering the benefits inherent in larger fabrics. Finally it offers a description of the characteristics of SAN switching technology that overcomes these challenges to deliver customers lower capital and operating costs.
