Sun公司任命两名新高官 帮助政府应对安全挑战

    DoSTOR存储分析 8月1日消息：Sun Microsystems公司今天宣布两项重要人事变动。Sun原首席信息官（CIO）Bill Vass改任Sun Microsystems Federal公司总裁兼首席运营官（COO），Sun Microsystems Federal是Sun Microsystems的全资子公司。Anthony Robbins被任命为Sun Federal销售副总裁。

 

  这两位新上任的高层将与Sun Federal董事长Scott McNealy一起，帮助政府机构应对Trusted Solaris 操作系统、身份管理软件、Sun Fire系统、StorageTek解决方案等面临的安全挑战。

 

    Sun Microsystems首席执行官Jonathan Schwartz表示：“从StorageTek归档平台，到开源Solaris 10操作系统，Sun的很多产品和技术被美国政府军事机构的关键业务部属中心采用。Bill和Anthony将以他们的智慧和才干，实现Scott和我对政府做出的承诺。”
